Kaohsiung District Prosecutors’ Office Requests Administrative Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice to Auction off 8 Siezed Illegal-Gained Luxsury Cars

 

Kaohsiung District Prosecutors lead southern district investigation unit of Agency Against Corruption(ACC) to investiagate an corruption case and timely seized 8 luxsury automobiles purchased by offenders with proceeds of crime. The abovemention ill-gotten vehicles include Porsche, Mercedes-Benz GLE 43 COUPE、JAGUAR XE, 2 large displacement motorcycles, and 3 grabbing-crane trucks. To avoid depreciation of the seized illegal assets, Kaohsiung District Prosecutors’ Office ask Administrative Enforcement Agency, Kaohsiung Branch to assist the auction to sale above cars. The acution was held at Kaohsiung branch, Administrative Enforcement Agency on 17th December, 2021 supervised by Chief Prosecutor Chuang Rong-Song, Director Huang Yuan-Kuang, ACC southern district investigation unit, Director Chang Yung-Chih, Administrative Enforcement Agency Kaohsiung Branch and Director Yang Bi-yin, Administrative Enforcement Agency Pingtong Branch. Over 112 bidders participated in the auction and all 8 automobiles were succefully sold at the amount of 1.2480 thousand N.T.

 

Anyone cannot reserve the proceeds of crime is the criminal policy of the Ministry of Jstice. Kaohsiung District Prosecutors’ Office will faithfully implement this doctrine and forcely seize the proceeds of crime to fullfill criminal Justice.
