Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office holds an activity to improve the performance of probation work To improve the counselling performance and skill of honorary probation officers, Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office held an activity on April 24th, 25th to praise the honorary probation officers. The agenda included recruitment activity and training course. Chief prosecutor of Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office Chou, chang-chin(周章欽) addressed his appreciation for the long-term support and devotion from honorary probation officers, who have been the best team partners in assisting legal cases and public affairs, especially in rehabilitation treatment. Chou also mentioned that workload might be heavier in the future; it takes the upgrade of team honor and counselling skill to enhance the efficiency of judicial protection. Chief of department of prevention, rehabilitation and protection, MOJ, Huang yu-yuan(黃玉垣) was invited to award medal and give a speech. Huang, served as chief prosecutor of Lienchiang, Taitung, Pingtung, and Changhua District Prosecutors Office, is well learned and experienced. During the period of service, he has made efforts to promote the task of judicial protection with extraordinary performance. The speech was interesting, profound, attendants learned a lot from it, and it prompted honorary probation officers get more devoted to their job. Huang appreciated Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office’s actively movement of probation affairs and highly attention of drug problem. He also expressed admiration to the devotion from honorary probation officers, and he added that this work is of merit and is an important policy that helps maintain social peace and harmony. The healing expert, Ma yi-yun (馬翊芸)and experienced probation officer, Chen chien-ying(陳建穎) were invited to share some new theories, approaches and views in dealing with probation works to help honorary probation officers at present have deeper understanding of this work and cultivate different points of view for their self-growth and to maintain their career passion.
