Reinforce Cross-institution Collaboration in Dongsha In order to penetrate Dongsha and reinforce cross-institution collaboration, Kaohsiung district prosecutors with head of marine national park headquarters, research fellows in Sinica, professors in National Sun Yat-sen University and head of coast guard administration on Jul. 11 explore Dongsha Atoll National Park. All participants explored the ecological resources and coral reef in Dongsha, also had been briefed about cross-border fish and coral reef thefts and coast guard service. During the seminar, research fellows mentioned the severity of fish and coral reef thefts, fortunately, the ecological resources has revived attribute to law enforcement. Prosecutors in the seminar concluded to defend national sovereignty and protect precious ecological resources, penalties and government action must be done promptly.
