Kaohsiung District Prosecutors’ Office Host Mother’s Day event

Kaohsiung District Prosecutors’ Office Host Mother’s Day event Kaohsiung District Prosecutors’ Office and Association for Victims Support Kaohsiung Chapter jointly hosted Mother’s Day event on May 4. There were 50 inmates on parole participating in this event. The chief prosecutor Chou Chung-Chin and chief commissioner of Association for Victims Support Liu Zhen-Fang both attended and encouraged these inmates on parole with some life stories about mother’s love to children. In the beginning, guests showed their regards by branding totem representing love and sharing on wooden postcards. They then said to these inmates: don’t be someone else, just be yourself; every day is a new beginning; you can make it ;hang in there and do not lose hope. The lecturer sang a song with Wukelili accompanied. The song is about overcoming difficulties. The inmates were all touched and responded with passion. Love experiencing course was a highlight in the event: writing down regards in words on wooden postcards; planting green; sending postcards. The chief prosecutor Chou Chung-Chin said that family support and accompany is important to guiding the inmates to the correct path. The purpose of this event is to remind those who once were lost in their lives that they still have the power of loving and being loved.
