You Are Invited! Plant Trees with Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office To mark the International Day of Forest and raise the awareness of the importance of forest, Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office, Qiaotou District Prosecutors Preparatory Office, in collaboration with Forestry Bureau host the event entitled "Plant trees to cherish Taiwan" on 9 A.M. March 21. 972 trees, approx. 0.6 ha, would be planted, and 800 trees includ. Osmanthus, Aglaia, Orange Jasmine and Michelia figo would be gifts to people participated. Welcome to join logging use display, forest recreation, policy advocacy, trivia quiz, bamboo weaving, plant painting, DIY for wooden-made cars, seed charm, and learn more about Prosecutors Office and Forestry Bureau! Qiaotou District Prosecutors Office is open this September and its surroundings is planned to be tree-planting area by Pingtung Forest District Office. This area serves the function of carbon reduction, green environment, and is a great place for leisure. Both the head of Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office and the head of Pingtung Forest District Office express forests have a crucial role in building and strengthening resilience, adjusting temperature and producing oxygen. Climate change and air pollution highlights how vital role forests play. These activities are taken place to encourage everyone plant more trees to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions and cherish Taiwan.
