The Man, Conducting Car Ramming Attack, Was Detained and Facing Murder Charge

After a vehicle rammed into one city council member’s office, armed police arrested the suspect rapidly.

It happened on 5^th Jun. the suspect （who named Houng, was born in 2000）failed the debt settlement with creditor at one city council member’s office. He blamed this failure on that council member, because he had a suspicion that the creditor might have some kind of special relationship with that city council member. In order to let his anger out, the suspect backed up the car to ram into the office at 7pm, regardless of the fact that there will be foot traffic in front of the office, and it might cause casualty.

 Due to his reckless behavior, the office’s rolling steel doors and glass windows were broken, and civilian there were terrified. Also, the suspect was charged with the same crime twice during 2022 based on the investigation. The suspect was put into custody after the prosecutor's office filed the petition.
